Feelin’ old fashioned? Or spicy with a salty rim? Check out our recipes. We don’t gatekeep.

BEST OLD FASHIONED EVER MADE

1 Sugar Cube ( stevia works if you want to watch your calories...but that is no fun!)

3 dashes bitters, Angostura is great and readily available

2...ish ounces Bourbon

Orange peel, optional

Dark Cherries,

Then add a smokey flavor with a Cocktail Smoker (also optional)

Muddle the sugar cube and bitters with a little water at the bottom of a chilled glass. (If using simple syrup, combine bitters and one bar spoon of syrup.)
Add bourbon. Stir. Enjoy!

BEST BLOODY MARY

Bloody Mary’s…you either love them or you hate them. I guess it is a little like olives.

4 - 6 oz. ZING ZANG Bloody Mary Mix – why mess with perfection?
2 oz. VODKA (Tito’s is our choice.)
Add HORSERADISH to add more kick if you like.
We recommend a 3:1 ratio, but that is up to you. (1 being the Vodka)

OPTIONAL: Spicy Rim salt, Hot Sauce Horseradish, Pepper (just sprinkle on top)
GARNISHES: Celery, Bacon (candied if you can find it), Olives, Banana Peppers, Shrimp (especially if you use horseradish)

If you like a salted rim, rub a lime wedge around the edge of your glass and dip it in salt.
In a shaker, combine the ZZ and vodka (add hot sauce or horseradish if you want.)
Shake well until chilled. Pour the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice.
Garnish with celery, etc. and enjoy!

TIP: Make sure you add salt first…otherwise you will be trying to stick it on with your fingers because your drink is already made. Been there done that.

BEST MARGARITA THIS SIDE OF MEXICO

Get ready to shake it!

2 oz silver TEQUILA (preferably 100% agave)
1 oz freshly squeezed LIME JUICE
1 oz ORANGE LIQUEUR (OR agave syrup and a little Orange Juice)
SALT for rimming the glass (optional)
LIME WEDGE for garnish

If you like a salted rim, rub a lime wedge around the edge of your glass and dip it in salt.
In a shaker, combine the tequila, lime juice, and orange liqueur with ice.
Shake well until chilled. While shaking, salsa dancing helps the flavor.
Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice.
Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy!

Adjust the ingredients to suit your taste—some like it a bit sweeter, while others prefer it more tart. And don’t forget to dance! Cheers!

BEST MOSCOW MULE

To make the best Moscow Mule, you'll want to focus on quality ingredients and the right balance of flavors. Here's a classic recipe that many enjoy

2 oz VODKA (Tito’s works great…but that is up to your personal preference.)
1 oz freshly squeezed LIME JUICE
4 oz GINGER BEER (preferably a spicy or strong ginger beer)
LIME WEDGES for garnish
Fresh MINT LEAVES (optional, for garnish)
COPPER MUG (for that classic presentation)

Fill a copper mug with ice cubes.
Pour the vodka and freshly squeezed lime juice over the ice.
Top with ginger beer and gently stir to combine.
Garnish with a lime wedge and a sprig of fresh mint, if desired.
Enjoy your refreshing Moscow Mule!

Adjust the amount of lime juice or ginger beer to suit your taste. Cheers!

BEST MINT JULEP

Break out the silver cups and polish them! Definitely makes the drink better.

2 oz BOURBON, (lots of choices but we lean toward Four Roses or Basil Hayden)
1/2 oz SIMPLE SYRUP (adjust to taste)
Fresh MINT LEAVES (about 8-10 leaves)
CRUSHED ICE
MINT SPRIG for garnish

Muddle the mint into a puddle with the syrup. Be careful not to tear the leaves too much; you want to release the mint oils without creating a muddled mess. Put the mixture into the bottom of the silver cup.
Pack crushed ice into the cup on top of the muddled puddle.
Pour the bourbon into the cup over the ice.
Stir gently to combine the ingredients and chill the drink. The silver cup will be a frosty wonder!

Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint.
TIP: You can substitute Stevia for the simple syrup to cut back on the sugar. Cheers!

THE BEST GIN (or vodka...if you must) MARTINI EVER!

1 BLUE CHEESE OLIVE (or 3...) if you really hate blue cheese, substitute boring old pimento stuffed olives.
3 Parts Tanqueray GIN (or whatever gin/vodka floats your boat)
1 part DRY VERMOUTH
Splash of OLIVE JUICE

Mix gin and vermouth in martini shaker over ice. Strain into martini glass, add olive juice and garnish.

The key to this is the shaker. Make sure to use very cold gin and SHAKE over LOTS of ice. You want the result to be almost frosty and a tad bit cloudy after you add in the olive juice.Enjoy!

THE BEST VODKA TONIC ON THE PLANET

VODKA (Duh)
TONIC (Double Duh)
LEMON
Mix your preference of “vodka to tonic ratio” and pour over ice. Commonly, the ratio is somewhere between 1:2 or 1:3.
Garnish with a lemon and serve.

TIP: If you are giving your liver a break, or are expecting and want to keep it a secret, this is the drink for you! Mix it 0:4...so basically, just pour tonic over ice...add some simple syrup (or stevia),stir and voila! The sweetness of the syrup mimics the vodka and it almost tastes just the same.

THE BEST GIN & TONIC ON THE PLANET

Same as Vodka Tonic but use Gin. (Duh.)

Ever wondered why we throw the “and” in there?
We don’t say Vodka AND Tonic...so why
Gin AND Tonic? We don’t have an answer, just something to think about.

THE BEST HURRICANE ON THE PLANET

Created by New Orleans bar owner Pat O’Brian, the Hurricane got its name from the shape of the glass it is served it. As a way to use up a surplus of rum during World War II when whiskey was hard to find, bar owners had to order 50 cases of rum to get one case of whiskey. Now that makes for some pretty nasty weather!

2ish oz. light rum.
2ish oz. dark rum.
2 oz. passion fruit juice.
1 oz. orange juice.
½ oz. fresh lime juice.
1 tablespoon simple syrup.
1 tablespoon grenadine.
Garnish: orange slice and cherry.

Basically, fruit juice and rum in the right glass with a cherry will pass as a hurricane. Cute straws help too!
